Attending Fiesta de Palmas

Fiesta de Palmas takes place at the McAllen Convention Center located at 700 Convention Center Blvd. McAllen TX 78501.

PRO TIP- Enter through 29th St. Main entrance to Fiesta de Palmas is located on the east side of the Convention Center

Is there an admission fee?

KIDS 12 & under are FREE ALL Weekend!

Adult admission is FREE all day Friday.

Saturday & Sunday- $10 for attendees 13 yrs or older

Is parking FREE?

Parking is FREE for all attendees.
Main Parking area is the lot near 29th St and Galveston Ave.
Fiesta de Palmas is also offering a FREE Park & Ride for the additional parking provided by Metro McAllen.

Can I use cash or credit to buy food and drinks?

Fiesta de Palmas is a cashless event.
Credit and debit cards accepted
Reloadable "Experience Cards" will be available at the box office.

Are there activities for children?

Fiesta de Palmas has a great variety of family friendly and fun events for all ages.

Edufiesta presented by McAllen International Airport provide interactive educational programming for children and families

What kind of food will be available?

Every year Fiesta de Palmas provides a great variety of food vendors for attendees, including food trucks. There is something delicious for everyone! Please note, there is no outside food and beverages allowed.

Can I volunteer?

Fiesta de Palmas is always looking for volunteers who are ready to lend a helping hand in preparation before the event, during the event, and even after. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, at conventionsmarketing@mcallen.net or call 956-681-3800 for more information.

Can I or my group perform?

Fiesta de Palmas is a an event meant to celebrate the amazing richness of heritage, culture, arts and music of the Valley. We aim to feature a variety of local and regional talent throughout our event. Please contact the McAllen Convention Center at 956-681-3800 for more information as well as to be added to the 2026 entertainment list for consideration.
